On ESPN's Big Monday, Duke rolled past NC State 93-64, clinching sole possession of the ACC regular season title. The Blue Devils have been on an absolute heater recently, setting new KenPom standards and winning four of their last five games by 25 points or more. With Jon Scheyer leading the way and his Coach of the Year candidacy growing, Duke is hitting its stride at the perfect time.

While Cam Boozer and Isaiah Evans remain the clear stars for Duke, the supporting cast has been making their presence felt. Dame Sarr has been an elite defender all year and is starting to become a real X-factor for the Blue Devils, as seen in his recent performance against NC State. Other players have been adding to the impact, with Nik Khamenia and Darren Harris providing sparks off the bench in recent games.

But Caleb Foster has emerged as Duke's floor general this season, running the offense and leading the team with poise.

Running the floor and protecting the ball, Foster guides Duke

Foster has taken a big step this year, showing growth on both sides of the ball. From averaging 4.9 points and 1.4 assists last year to 8.6 points and 2.9 this season, the stats don't jump off the page, but his growth on the court is clear. In some of Duke's biggest games this season, he's stepped up, delivering clutch moments and keeping the team steady in key stretches.

Foster has been nearly flawless in recent games, turning in 23 assists and only two turnovers over the Blue Devils' last five games. It's been a very impressive stretch for the junior guard, and it's just another piece of what makes this Duke team so special. Even with Boozer as the clear star, Foster's leadership keeps the team organized and firing on all cylinders.

As Duke enters their regular season finale with March Madness on the horizon, Foster's steady hand will be crucial. Duke returns to Cameron Indoor on Saturday for a rivalry clash with No. 17 UNC, with a chance to avenge their heartbreaking loss to the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill before turning its attention to the ACC Tournament.
