Duke basketball superstar Grayson Allen had a chance for redemption on Saturday night.

There was a chance to be had at redemption for former Duke basketball standout Grayson Allen on Saturday night, and he took full advantage.

Allen missed two free throws in the final seconds of Wednesday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks (30-25), which led to a game-winning 3-point buzzer-beater from Luka Doncic, sending the Memphis Grizzlies (29-26) home with a harsh loss.

Memphis responded with a victory over the Chicago Bulls (23-33) on Friday night as Grayson Allen added 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 26 minutes, but his true chance to make up for his past blunder came on Saturday night.

The Grizzlies traveled to Milwaukee to face the Bucks (35-21) in the second game of a back-to-back as nearly a double-digit underdog with back-to-back MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his team not playing since Thursday.

Allen took full advantage of helping his team steal a victory that not many thought they would come away with after his 26-point, four-rebound, one-assist, and two-steal performance on 9-of-13 shooting from the field, drilling 7-of-10 from 3-point range.

Duke basketball continues to impress at the NBA level

Grayson Allen has scored in double figures in eight of his last 10 games. The National Champ saw his best outing of the season come on April 7 with a 30-point showing against the Atlanta Hawks (30-26).

In the month of April, Allen is averaging 14.6 points per game on 44.8-percent shooting from the floor and 40.0-percent from beyond the arc.
