The greatest strength of Duke basketball junior wing Joey Baker…

OUTSIDE SHOOTING

When Joey Baker is hot, he is easily one of the deadliest shooters in the nation. The 6-foot-6 wing played just 12 minutes per game last season but still had some big shooting nights.

Baker hit four 3-pointers against Winthrop and five 3-pointers against Wofford. This season, he looks to be Duke’s best pure outside shooter. With a picture-perfect form, when he gets his feet set, you can almost count on it going in. He should put up more eye-popping 3-point numbers this year with more opportunity.

The rest of Joey Baker’s game is still developing, but if he never fully figures it out, he will always be a reliable 3-point shooting option for the Blue Devils.

OK, time to look at all the newcomers…
