Jason Day and Brendon Todd are currently the leaders after the first round at five-under par.
As for Streelman’s round, after the opening hole, he had to battle and navigate his way through the remainder of his round with a bogey at No. 11, birdie at No. 12, and bogey at No. 13.
Back at even-par, the first par of the day came for Kevin Streelman at hole No. 14 which was quickly followed by a birdie at No. 15.
Five straight pars kept the former Dukie steady as he made the turn to the back nine but on hole No. 3, Streelman was able to birdie the Par-3 and rise to two-under par in the tournament for the first time.

Four more pars kept the ex-Blue Devil steady on the leaderboard but the Par-3 8th hole would get Streelman as he dropped a stroke to send him back to one-under before a par on No. 9 to end his round.
Kevin Streelman currently sits at T-33 for the tournament and a solid round on Friday would ensure that he will make the cut and continue his quest for a major championship.
