Rise on 2022 Top247: Nine spots, from No. 22 to No. 13 overall (No. 1 in Tennessee)

Composite ranking: No. 15 overall

High school: Brentwood Academy (Tenn.)

Scouting report (from Lance Smith of SBLive): “The numbers don’t lie with Clark: 25.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 2.5 steals a game…made 81 of 207 threes this past season…not an exaggeration to say that Clark is one of the most offensively talented sophomore combo guards you will ever see…already one of the best shooters in high school…handles are elite…ability to finish at the rim is also far ahead of his years.”

Offers to date: More than two dozen, notably from Arizona, Auburn, Gonzaga, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, North Carolina, and Tennessee

Sign that Duke may join the race (what Clark recently wrote in his SI blog): “The recruitment is getting more fun now that we can talk to the coaches directly. I’ve heard from a lot of schools like North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, DePaul, TCU, Stanford, Florida State, BYU, Penn, and others. It’s all a blessing to me. I feel honored when any school hits me up. It’s a blessing to be in a position where coaches want you at their school.”
