The Duke basketball team continues to climb in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll after completing its latest perfect week on the hardwood.
It was another perfect week for the Duke Basketball team after the Blue Devils took down then No. 8 Florida State and Notre Dame in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Monday and Saturday, respectively.
Duke is now riding a seven-game winning streak and has inched up in the last two weeks to No. 6 in the latest Associated Press Top-25 Poll.

The Blue Devils were at No. 8 two weeks ago and have seen an increase in each release since, but Duke fans continue to hang its hat on the early projection of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee where Mike Krzyzewski’s team was a No. 2 seed in the East Region.
There was no change in the Top-5 of the AP Poll with Baylor, Gonzaga, Kansas, San Diego State, and Dayton as the Maryland Terrapins follow Duke at No. 7 with Florida State, Penn State, and Kentucky rounding out the Top-10.
Duke, Florida State, and Louisville are the only ACC teams that are ranked in the poll this week despite the Cardinals dropping both of its games this week and falling from No. 5 to No. 11.
With Louisville’s down week, Duke slid into first place in the ACC regular-season standings and current control its own destiny for the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament which seems so important this season.

The Blue Devils currently sit at 22-3 (12-2 ACC) and the road doesn’t any easier for Duke despite not playing a team that is currently ranked in the Top-25 for the remainder of the regular season.

Duke hits the road to face North Carolina State, a team that needs to beat the Blue Devils to get back on the bubble, on Wednesday night at 9:00pm EST on ESPN and then return home to face Virginia Tech on Saturday night at 8:00pm EST on ESPN2.
