Former Duke Basketball star Wendell Carter Jr. posted a double-double on Wednesday night to help lead the Chicago Bulls over the Atlanta Hawks.
It was a matchup of former Duke Basketball stars in Chicago on Wednesday night as the Atlanta Hawks were in town to face the Bulls.
Chicago was able to come away with a decisive 136-102 victory thanks to a double-double from former Blue Devil Wendell Carter Jr.

Carter Jr. scored 11 points and a team-high 10 rebounds in 23 minutes of game action in the victory.
The former Blue Devil was 5-of-8 from the floor and made his only free throw attempt while also dishing out one assist.
On the other side, the Atlanta Hawks struggled to find its rhythm but rookie guard Cam Reddish was the team’s second-leading scorer with 16 points in 29 minutes coming off the bench.
The No. 10 overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft also five rebounds, one assist, and a block in the loss but was 4-of-11 from the field, 3-of-9 from 3-point range, and 5-of-8 from the free throw line.
In the starting lineup for the Hawks, former college star Jabari Parker posted 11 points and seven rebounds in just 21 minutes.
Parker also racked up a steal and a block while shooting 5-of-10 from the floor and splitting his two attempts from 3-point territory.

Both the Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks have struggled this season, the win improving Chicago to 9-17 while the loss dropped Atlanta to a lowly 6-19, tied for the fourth-worst record in the NBA with the New Orleans Pelicans, and in front of the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, and Golden State Warriors.

The Bulls will play the third game of its four-game homestand on Friday, December 13 against the Charlotte Hornets at 8:00pm EST while the Hawks will head back to Atlanta to face the Indiana Pacers on Friday night at 7:30pm EST.
