Duke looking to end season strong at home against Miami in finale
The Duke Football team will be looking to end the season strong in Wallace Wade Stadium against the Miami Hurricanes.
Riding a four game losing streak, the Duke Blue Devils will look to end a five game losing streak against the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday afternoon at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Duke’s record stands at 4-7 and unless the unthinkable happens, the Blue Devils will not be in a bowl game for the first time since 2016.

On the other side, the Miami Hurricanes will be in a bowl game s the Canes enter Saturday afternoon with a 6-5 record and will be in the postseason regardless of the outcome with its battle with the Blue Devils.
Head Coach Manny Diaz said Miami suffered its worst loss in program history last Saturday in a neutral site game against Florida International University as pervious to that defeat the Canes had been finding its footing against its recent competition.
Duke has been at its best when it establishes the run and is able to build its passing game off the run, but in what could be its last game of the season, it’s time to empty the playoff and do anything to get a victory.
Implement all the trick plays, run some flea-flickers, and some swing passes, and try to catch Miami off guard because although there is a chance that Duke can make a bowl game at 5-7, it’s very unlikely and on Senior Day, Duke should try to send its seniors out with a win.
It won’t be easy given the Blue Devils performance on both offense and defense in the past five and a half weeks but if Duke is able to set its mind to getting a win, the Blue Devils should be able to get it done.
Duke can be seen for what is most likely the last time this season against Miami and the game will kickoff at 3:30pm EST at Wallace Wade Stadium and the game can be seen on ESPN2.
PREDICTION: Miami 24, Duke 13
