Stroman tossed seven shutout innings, scattering six hits, walking none, and striking out five in the Toronto Blue Jays’ 12-1 victory.

According to multiple reports, teams that were in attendance to watch Stroman on Friday include the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies.

On the season, Stroman improved his numbers with a 6-10 record and a 3.06 ERA in addition to 93 strikeouts in 117.2 innings pitches.

The 28-year old made his first All-Star Game this year but did not pitch in the Mid-Summer Classic due to a pectoral injury.

Stroman is having one of the best seasons of his career in terms of ERA, posting a career best 3.09 ERA in 33 starts in the 2017 season.

A trade seems likely with Stroman as the Blue Jays continue to rebuild and have struggled mightily this season with a 37-62 record, 27.5 games back of the Yankees for first place in the American League East and 19.5 games behind the Oakland Athletics for the elusive second Wild Card spot.

With the Medford, New York native likely heading to a playoff bound team, he has not faired too well in the Postseason, making five combined starts in the 2015 and 2016 Postseason with a 1-1 record and a 4.40 ERA in 30.2 innings pitched.

The MLB Trading Deadline is on Wednesday, July 31 at 4:00pm EST and Marcus Stroman is currently scheduled to make two more starts for the Toronto Blue Jays in that time period with the first coming on Thursday, July 24 against the Cleveland Indians and the other on Tuesday, July 30 against the Kansas City Royals.
