The Duke Basketball team will be taking the floor for live game action for the last time in the 2018-19 season at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday night against Wake Forest.

It’s the last game in Cameron Indoor Stadium this season and the Blue Devils will be hosting the lowly Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Tonight will also be the final home game for seniors Antonio Vrankovic and Brennan Besser. In addition to the seniors it will almost certainly be the final game in Cameron for R.J. Barrett, Cam Reddish, Zion Williamson, if he plays, and possibly Tre Jones.

More from Ball Durham

Vrankovic is a senior from Croatia and is hoping to go overseas and begin a professional career upon his graduation from Duke University.

His best season came last year, where Vrankovic averaged 7.8 minutes per game and 2.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

Antonio Vrankovic posted his careers high twice in the 2016-17 season when he scored eight points against Appalachian State and Maine.

This season, Vrankovic’s season high is four points and he matched that number twice, in the season opener against Kentucky and in the ACC opener against Clemson.

As for Brennan Besser, the walk-on has been an integral part of the Duke Basketball program over his four years and has done things that are way more important than basketball.

This past summer, Besser rode his bike across the United States of America to help raise money for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD).

On the court, Besser is enjoying the most games he has played in one individual season this year and has posted his career high twice in a game with two points.

Besser is averaging 2.8 minutes per game and 1.0 points per game, scoring two points against Stetson and Princeton.

The whole country knows what the freshman of R.J. Barrett, Zion Williamson, Cam Reddish, and Tre Jones has done this regular season and their work is certainly not done, but those four players are not seniors. They have the option to return to Duke or enter the NBA Draft.

This is the last chance Antonio Vrankovic and Brennan Besser have to play in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

There isn’t much to say about Wake Forest this season because they just aren’t a very good basketball team and the Blue Devils will run circles around them.

The biggest question that remains heading into this game is whether or not Zion Williamson will play, as he’s still recovering from a Grade 1 knee sprain.

Duke will be up big in this game and I would expect to see a high dosage of Antonio Vrankovic and Brennan Besser in the second half.

PREDICTION: Duke 102, Wake Forest 71
