The Duke Basketball team is back in action on Tuesday night for the first true road game of the season against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

This is two teams going in complete opposite directions.

The Duke Blue Devils are the No. 1 team in the country, posting a 13-1 record and a 1-0 record in the ACC with National Championship aspirations.

Wake Forest is 7-6, 0-1 in the ACC, and trying to find a way to climb out of the basement in the ACC.

However, despite the distinct disparity between the two team, you can never assume what might happen in a conference road game, especially with freshman, in their first conference road game.

When watching Wake Forest, nothing really stands out where the team excels at one particular facet of the game.

The Demon Deacons only shoot 35.1% from 3-point range and an underwhelming 72.0% from the free throw line.

Throughout the season, Wake has not gotten a major crowd this season, but while Duke is clearly the superior team, it is an expected sellout at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum to see the No. 1 team in the country and it will be interesting to see how the young Blue Devils handle it.

Duke has played in front of sellout crowds away from Cameron Indoor Stadium before, most notably at the Champions Classic, Maui Invitational, and in Madison Square Garden, but this will be another test for this Blue Devils team with having to go on the road once again on Saturday afternoon against Florida State.

There’s a point in every basketball game where the superior talent will take over and that is what Duke has over Wake Forest.

R.J. Barrett, Zion Williamson, and the birthday boy Tre Jones will take over this game and the Blue Devils will cruise into the showdown on Saturday with the Seminoles.

PREDICTION: Duke 95, Wake Forest 74
