It will be interesting to see if Ohio State QB Kyle McCord is as good as his 11-1 record in 2023 would indicate. Or, was he just a beneficiary of playing for the Buckeyes with whom he was surrounded by NFL Talent at numerous positions, including wide receiver?
Now at Syracuse, he will have something to prove once again. He threw for 3,170 yards and 24 TDs with six picks last year but he won't have All-American teammates to lean on in 2024 like he had in Columbus.
