If Patrick Ngongba declares for the NBA Draft as expected, Duke is going to have a major hole at the center position.
The player who could be a perfect fit in replacing Ngongba just announced his intent to enter the Transfer Portal - while also declaring for the NBA Draft.
Kansas big man Flory Bidunga, who averaged 13.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game this season, instantly becomes one of the biggest names available in the portal.

Flory Bidunga would be a perfect fit for Jon Scheyer and Duke
Bidunga was the Big 12's Defensive Player of the Year in 2025-26, anchoring the defense for the Jayhawks while also growing as an offensive player.
Bidunga's 5.1 defensive BPM ranked 21st in the country, per Bart Torvik.
Bidunga made a massive leap from his freshman-to-sophomore seasons with the Jayhawks, seeing an increased role and nearly doubling his counting stats while being one of the nation's most impactful paint presences on both ends of the court.
Bidunga originally entered the Transfer Portal a year ago before opting to return to Kansas. Now, it appears the big man will either remain in the NBA Draft or transfer out.
Duke would be a perfect fit, and the Blue Devils have a major need with Ngongba likely moving on.
Scheyer will hope - if Duke is fortunate enough to land Bidunga - that he has better luck in getting him on campus than he did a year ago with Washington State star transfer Cedric Coward.
Like Bidunga, Coward went through the NBA Draft process. Coward put together great performances at the Combine, parlaying that into being a lottery selection by the Memphis Grizzlies.
If Bidunga remains in college, there will be a number of suitors lining up at the door. But there's only one Duke, and with the obvious need at the spot, Scheyer and the Blue Devils should instantly be one of the top contenders to land him.
