Your 4-0, and somehow still unranked in the AP Poll, Duke Blue Devils are fresh off a bye week and will make their way to Atlanta this weekend to face off against Georgia Tech in the first of eight consecutive weeks of ACC opponents to close out the regular season.
Duke has already exceeded all reasonable expectations so far this season with the perfect start. But the final eight games will determine whether they are truly contenders in the ACC or the first four weeks were just fool's gold.
Manny Diaz and company no doubt spent the bye week working on a few things, most notably getting starting QB Walker Eget and the wide receivers more comfortable with one another so Duke can strike some offensive balance and alleviate some of the burden that star RB Nate Sheppard has undertaken through the season's first month.
Against a struggling Georgia Tech squad, this would be a great week to get it going.

The tropical system developing in the Gulf could bring significant rain into play for the Duke-Georgia Tech matchup in Atlanta. With Duke's talent at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and Sheppard at RB, a soggy game could play right into its hands.
