2015 Pinstripe Bowl: Finally

Finally, after a 54-year drought, the Duke Blue Devils won a bowl game, beating Indiana 44-41 in overtime at Yankee Stadium. The Blue Devils finished the year 8-5 despite an underwhelming season from quarterback Thomas Sirk. He finished with 16 touchdown passes to eight interceptions and eight more scores on the ground, but only completed 55.8% of his passes for 2,624 yards in 12 games.

Sirk wasn’t particularly effective at throwing the ball in the final game of the year. He threw for 163 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions on 17/37 passing against Indiana, but he ran for 155 yards and two scores on 20 carries.

That included a five-yard TD run with 41 seconds left in the fourth quarter that sent the game to overtime. Ross Martin won it for the Blue Devils on a 36-yard field.
