Johnny Dawkins is one of the best Duke players of all-time but also might be one of the most underrated.
He scored 2,556 points in his career and was either on the First or Second Team All-ACC in each of his four seasons with the Blue Devils.
Dawkins was a Second Team selection in his freshman and sophomore seasons while cracking the First Team as a junior and season.
In his final two seasons in Durham, Johnny Dawkins was a two-time consensus First Team All-American and named as the Naismith Player of the Year in 1986, the first Duke player to ever win the award.
His jersey No. 24 is also retired by Duke.
