No. 7 Greatest Duke basketball careers in NBA: Carlos Boozer

NBA Career Stats: 16.2 PPG, 9.5 RPG, 2.2 APG, 0.9 SPG, 52.1 FG%

Carlos Boozer was a force of a human being. Not even to mention what he could do on the basketball court.

It’s extremely surprising given that he wasn’t selected in the first round of the NBA Draft after he left the Blue Devils.

Boozer was drafted No. 35 overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers but he made the organization look smart after earning a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2003.

The power forward would also become a two-time NBA All-Star in 2007 and 2008 while also gathering All-NBA Third Team honors with the Utah Jazz during the ’08 season.

Carlos Boozer’s best chance at winning an NBA Championship came during his time in Chicago but the knee injuries that impacted the career of Derrick Rose halted any chance the Bulls had at returning to glory.

Perhaps Boozer will slide up these rankings in a couple of years if he is able to convince his highly recruited twin sons, Cameron, and Cayden Boozer, to commit to Duke.

He totaled 13,976 points and 8,192 rebounds in his 13-year career.
