No. 8 Greatest Duke basketball careers in NBA: Corey Maggette

NBA Career Stats: 16.0 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.1 APG, 45.3 FG%, 32.4 3PT%

Corey Maggette is another example of a true professional basketball player coming out of Duke.

Maggette didn’t do anything special that gathered him major honors from the league’s coaches, players, or writers but he was a player that every organization wanted to have around.

The forward spent his first season away from Durham with the Orlando Magic before spending the next eight seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Maggette would then ink a massive deal with the Golden State Warriors but only spent two years with the organization before playing on three different teams in the last three seasons of his career.

Corey Maggette would total 13,198 points and 4,022 rebounds in his 14-year career.
