Duke basketball recruit Isaiah Evans posed with Coach K during his official visit.
Mike Krzyzewski‘s duties with the Duke basketball program are still not over.
Despite his status as an ambassador to the university, Krzyzewski is still hanging around to potentially dazzle a recruit.
The Blue Devils hosted 5-star forward Isaiah Evans over the weekend on an official visit and Jon Scheyer went into his bullpen to call upon the Hall of Famer to pose with the MaxPreps North Carolina Player of the Year.
Evans’ mother captured the moment on Instagram.
Isaiah Evans is ranked as the No. 10 player in the Class of 2024, according to the 247Sports ranking, but the site’s Composite Rankings lists the North Mecklenburg (NC) standout as the No. 30 player in the class and a 4-star prospect.

Nevertheless, Evans is still the top player in the state of North Carolina after averaging 38.6 points per game in five state tournament games this season.
The 6-foot-6 wing also posed for cameras this weekend while wearing the traditional Duke home jersey.
Isaiah Evans has also taken an official visit to Florida State and holds offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, North Carolina State, Tennessee, and more.
Duke basketball recruiting plans in Class of 2024
Jon Scheyer only has one player verbally committed to Duke in the Class of 2024 and its 4-star sharpshooter Darren Harris.
The coaching staff recently visited 4-star wing Tyler Betsey at his home in Windsor, Connecticut last week prior to hosting Isaiah Evans in Durham.

The Blue Devils remain heavily involved with 5-star superstar Dylan Harper while 5-star small forward Nassir Cunningham is another name to watch as he and Harper could become a package deal.
Harper and Cunningham both included Duke in their Top-5 finalists.
None of the prospect have timelines for a potential commitment with the exception of Dylan Harper, who said he could announce his decision at some point in July.
