Duke is currently sitting as the No. 5 spot in the ACC, but with two games left to play, it still has time to improve on that standing, especially with third place Virginia and fourth place Clemson facing off tonight.

That being said, beating NC State tonight is going to be absolutely critical.

Thankfully, it’ll play on its home court tonight, where it is a perfect 15-0 on the season.

Let’s take a peak at the odds for the game and then I’ll give you my best bet.

NC State vs. Duke odds, spread, and total

NC State vs. Duke prediction and pick

Duke hasn’t lost at home yet this season, and I refuse to believe that will end tonight. The Blue Devils have an average scoring margin of +16.7 points when playing at Cameron Indoor Stadium, which is 17.5 points better than their -0.8 average scoring margin on the road.

Meanwhile, NC State’s average scoring margin drops 11.6 points on the road compared to at home.

Duke has also been shooting the lights out lately. The Blue Devils have an effective field goal percentage of 62% over their last three games. That’s the third best mark in college basketball over their last three games.

I think Duke is getting hot at the right time. I’ll lay the points with the Blue Devils at home tonight.
