The top remaining Duke basketball 2023 target will announce his commitment tomorrow.

TJ Power, a prime Duke basketball recruiting target, will announce his college decision tomorrow evening.

The 6-foot-8 forward, and five-star prospect in the Class of 2023, from Shrewsbury, Massage will decide between Duke, North Carolina, Boston College, Virginia and Iowa.

The news was first reported by On3‘s Joe Tipton, who tweeted out about Power’s impending announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

The timing of Power’s announcement could mean good news for the Blue Devils, as Duke basketball has received multiple Crystal Ball predictions for Power’s commitment in the past week.

TJ Power is the No. 24 player in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, and the No. 6 power forward in his class.

Power currently holds three predictions on 247Sports, all of which point towards Duke being his collegiate destination.

TJ Power’s potential commitment also comes with a bit of a twist.

While the forward is a top ranked basketball recruit, he is also a well regarded pitcher on the baseball field and signaled that whatever school he chooses to attend will allow him to play both basketball and baseball.

Duke has not seen a dual-sport athlete in a long time, providing the 6-foot-8, 210 pound rising senior with a unique opportunity.

TJ Power would further cement Duke as the top ranked recruiting class in the country, according to 247Sports.

Power would join five-star small forward Mackenzie Mgbako, five-star power forward Sean Stewart, five-star point guard Caleb Foster, and five-star shooting guard Jared McCain.

Jon Scheyer already posted the No. 1 ranked recruiting class in 2022, entering his first season as the Duke head coach, with seven commitments.
