A few sly social media moves may have revealed Duke basketball transfer targets.

The Duke basketball program as a whole is incredibly calculated in all that it does. That extends to all aspects of the program — the players, the coaches, the managers, and even the social media team.

That’s precisely why a few recent moves from the Blue Devils on Instagram and Twitter can’t be ignored.

Duke has followed three different players over the past 24 hours, all of whom have their names currently entered into the transfer portal. While many may dismiss this as just a simple action, there’s a lot more to it.

On the two platforms, the Duke basketball account follows less than 1,500 people combined. Most of those who get the coveted follow from the Blue Devils are associated with the program in some way — whether that be former players, coaches, or fans  — as well as verified celebrities and other popular accounts.

So following three current players, none of whom currently play for Duke and all with their name in the portal, seems like a surefire sign that Jon Scheyer and the rest of the staff are looking to bring these guys to Durham.

Grabbing reinforcements in the portal is something Duke basketball fans have been calling for to start the offseason, especially following the departures of last season’s stars to the NBA.

If the Blue Devils could land just one of these guys — or all three — Scheyer and company could potentially have one of the deeper rosters in recent memory.

So who are those three guys that Duke followed? Time to find out…
