Duke basketball keys to victory against Texas Tech:

Coaching

Mike Krzyzewski is one of the best college basketball coaches of all time, and he has to have a great game on Thursday night.

Krzyzewski has all the experience over Mark Adams, and he has to out-coach the Texas Tech head coach.

Duke stumbled in the Elite Eight in 2019 because it did not get Zion Williamson the basketball enough in the final eight minutes of the game, and that cannot be a reason why the Blue Devils fall again.

Paolo Banchero is the best player on Duke. He proved again how good he was in the Michigan State game.

No one could guard the superstar freshman, and he secured a game-saving block in the final two minutes of the victory.

If no one on Texas Tech is able to guard Banchero one-on-one, Duke must keep going to the eventual Top-3 NBA Draft pick as much as possible until a double team comes and trust him to make the right play with the basketball.

Duke has to be better than Texas Tech in all aspects of the game on Thursday, and it starts at the top with Mike Krzyzewski.
