Duke basketball keys to victory against Texas Tech:

Take Care of the Basketball

Duke cannot turn the basketball over if it wants a chance to defeat Texas Tech.

The Red Raiders force opponents into an average of 16.0 turnovers per game and were able to force 16 turnovers against Montana State but just 11 turnovers against Notre Dame.

Texas Tech scored 23 points off turnovers in the Round of 64 and 11 points off turnovers in the Round of 32.

The Blue Devils have struggled to hold onto the basketball this season as Duke averages 10.3 turnovers per game and coughed the ball up 13 times against Cal State Fullerton and ten times against Michigan State.

Jeremy Roach and Wendell Moore have to be strong with the basketball while running the offense, and Duke has to be prepared for multiple defenders from Texas Tech to pressure the ball from anywhere on the court.
