Probabilities of each Duke basketball player leaving after season
By Matt Johnson
How many returning players will be on next season’s Duke basketball roster?
It’s back. And it’s so beautiful. Yes, fellow Duke basketball fans, we have waited three long years for this month to arrive. The last time I wrote one of these probability articles, Justin Robinson was attaining folk-hero status, Tre Jones was ACC Player of the Year, and things we’re looking up for the Blue Devils.
Three years, two Duke postseason cancellations, and one pause later, we’ve returned to the promised lands. As I write this, 64 teams remain in the NCAA Tournament, and you better believe Duke can appreciate being in the thick of the action this year.
As much as this weekend and all the rest of Mike Krzyzewski’s last ride are about staying in the moment, it’s never too early to look ahead. In that spirit, I’ve given out the probabilities of each Blue Devil on the current roster returning next season.
I try to do one of these articles every year, but this year has been a little slam-packed. This precious little three-month-old is taking up most of my time. But she’s sleeping in today, so let’s get to it.
