Duke basketball takeaways against Syracuse:

Do Not Forget About Mark Williams

It felt like Duke forgot it had a 7-foot-1 beast in the paint during the first half of its win over Syracuse.

Mark Williams had been dominant against the Orange this season, and he was one of the lone players who played well on the defensive end in the first half.

Williams had just two shot attempts in the opening 20 minutes but was able to record eight rebounds and four assists.

The adjustment was made at halftime.

Mark Williams was 7-of-9 from the floor in the second half to finish with 15 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.

Do not forget about the big man down low. Not many can hang with him.
