Duke basketball takeaways against Syracuse:

Trust Jeremy Roach

In the biggest game of his career, Jeremy Roach delivered.

The sophomore guard came off the bench and poured in 19 clutch points on 6-of-12 shooting and 5-of-10 from beyond the arc.

Each one of his triples was massive in the moment as it was an answer to each Syracuse big shot.

Roach also collected two rebounds and two assists with just one turnover in the victory.

It’s time to trust Jeremy Roach, and that is what you saw today as he was on the floor instead of the food-poisoned and struggling AJ Griffin.

It does not matter whether Roach starts or comes off the bench, but he needs to be on the floor in the big moment for Duke.
