17. Former Duke basketball guard Tre Jones

Former two-year Duke basketball star Tre Jones, who went No. 41 overall at the 2020 NBA Draft, is in his second year as a pro, and both campaigns have been with the San Antonio Spurs.

While the 6-foot-1, 185-pound floor general has drawn only four starts this season, he is a regular off the bench, playing in 46 games this season and roughly doubling his playing time from a season ago. In 13.5 minutes per game, the 22-year-old Jones boasts the following season averages and percentages:

  • 4.8 points per game (career-high)
  • 1.8 rebounds per game (career-high)
  • 2.4 assists per game (career-high)
  • 0.4 steals per game (career-high)
  • 0.0 blocks per game
  • 50.0 percent from the field (career-high)
  • 15.0 percent beyond the arc
  • 87.8 percent from the charity stripe

Tre Jones and the San Antonio Spurs (23-36), now No. 11 in the Western Conference standings, return from the All-Star break at 7 p.m. ET Friday in a road contest against the Washington Wizards (27-31).
