20. Former Duke basketball guard Cassius Stanley
Cassius Stanley was on tap for a two-way contract with the Indiana Pacers in the preseason, but he is no longer on an NBA roster. However, the 2019-20 Duke basketball one-and-done has taken advantage of a few 10-day contracts from the Detroit Pistons this season when they’ve been without several regulars. He’s been reasonably productive in nine games altogether, drawing one start.
The 22-year-old Stanley, who went No. 54 overall at the 2020 NBA Draft, is putting up the following season averages and percentages:
- 5.8 points per game (career-high)
- 2.1 rebounds per game (career-high)
- 0.4 assists per game (career-high)
- 0.6 steals per game (career-high)
- 0.2 blocks per game (career-high)
- 41.3 percent from the field (career-high)
- 23.5 percent beyond the arc (career-high)
- 100.0 percent from the charity stripe (career-high)
Currently, Cassius Stanley plays for the Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise (22-9).
