23. Former Duke basketball forward Javin DeLaurier
Javin DeLaurier, who went undrafted in 2020 after spending four seasons in Durham, finally made his debut in the league this season, albeit the 6-foot-10, 240-pound big man has still played in only one NBA game to date. That opportunity arrived on New Year’s Day, a week or so after the then-shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks extended him a 10-day contract, which has since expired.
Playing only three minutes in that game, a blowout win over the visiting New Orleans Pelicans, DeLaurier failed to register a point — zero shot attempts — but did come away with one rebound and a steal.
Meanwhile, Javin DeLaurier has been a consistent force for Milwaukee’s G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd (16-14). Across his team-high 26 appearances (16 starts), the 23-year-old from Virginia is averaging 5.7 points and 7.3 rebounds in 20.7 minutes per game.
