11. Former Duke basketball center Mason Plumlee

The 31-year-old Mason Plumlee is now the oldest Blue Devil currently in the NBA. He’s in his first season with the Charlotte Hornets.

Sure, he is far from being a star. But the former four-year Duke basketball player, who went No. 22 overall at the 2013 NBA Draft, is a full-time starter and has, once again, proven to be both durable and dependable in his role. Plumlee, now a ninth-year pro, is putting up the following season averages and percentages:

  • 6.7 points per game
  • 8.0 rebounds per game
  • 3.1 assists per game
  • 0.9 steals per game
  • 0.6 blocks per game
  • 63.1 percent from the field
  • 0-for-0 beyond the arc
  • 37.9 percent from the charity stripe (ouch)

Mason Plumlee and the Charlotte Hornets (29-31), now No. 9 in the Eastern Conference standings, return from the All-Star break at 7 p.m. ET Friday when they host the Toronto Raptors (32-25).
