A brutal stretch of games for the Duke basketball program begins against Louisville.

Three straight road games for the Duke basketball team are on the schedule, and it all gets started with the Louisville Cardinals (11-9, 5-5 ACC).

Louisville has been through turmoil this week after it fired head coach Chris Mack following three and a half seasons.

Mack came to the program from Xavier, where he led the Musketeers to multiple NCAA Tournaments, something he could not do in his short time with Louisville.

The Cardinals have lost two straight games and five out of their last six entering their showdown with the No. 9 Blue Devils (16-3, 6-2 ACC). And the buzz around the game has not been present like it has for matchups between the two teams in the past.

Duke Injury Report vs. Louisville

It is likely that Duke will, once again, be without freshman guard Trevor Keels, who was injured in the loss to Florida State.

The Duke coaching staff is optimistic about a return to the court for Keels quickly as associate head coach Chris Carrawell told reporters that it was “up in the air” if the freshman would play on Saturday.

Trevor Keels is averaging 11.9 points per game this season.

Duke vs. Louisville Odds: Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick

WynnBET’s College Basketball Odds lists Duke as a 6.5-point road favorite against Louisville while the over/under is set at 140.5.

The Blue Devils put together an unspirited effort against Clemson and barely hung on for a two-point victory, but Saturday will be different.

Louisville is a bigger name than Clemson. Plus, the game is on the road, so Duke should be putting its best foot forward.

However, it remains to be seen if the Cardinals will show up after the dismissal of head coach Chris Mack.

With no true feel on the game, we will take Duke to win and cover the spread with the total points staying under the number listed.
