It’s a critical ACC showdown in Tallahassee as the Duke basketball team faces Florida State.

For the second time in ACC play, the Duke basketball program will hit the road.

The No. 6 Blue Devils (14-2, 4-1 ACC) dominated things from start to finish in their only other conference road game against Wake Forest last week as the team will now make the trip south to Tallahassee to play the Florida State Seminoles (10-5, 4-2 ACC).

Florida State has been a disappointment so far this season after putting together several consecutive seasons with conference championship aspirations and NBA Draft picks.

Head coach Leonard Hamilton is still looking for the right lineup combination. But things could be starting to turn for the ‘Noles as the team has won three straight games and five of its last six.

Caleb Mills leads the team with 13.0 points per game while Kentucky transfer Cam’ron Fletcher is posting just 5.9 points per contest.

Duke is coming off of a blowout home victory against North Carolina State.

Duke Injury Report vs. Florida State

Duke will be fully healthy on Saturday against Florida State, but that is not the biggest injury news of the game.

Arguably Florida State’s best player, Malik Osborne, is doubtful for the game due to an ankle injury.

Osborne averages 11.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and did not play in the Seminoles’ victory on Saturday over Syracuse.

Duke vs. Florida State Odds: Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick

WynnBET’s College Basketball Odds lists Duke as a 5-point road favorite against Florida State while the over/under is set at 145.

Duke has been rolling over its last two games since suffering a rare home loss to Miami (Fla.) back on January 8 with blowout victories over Wake Forest, on the road, and North Carolina State, at home.

Florida State has not been impressive this year after many anticipated the program would continue its rise in the conference and challenge the Blue Devils at the top of the ACC.

Winning on the road is hard, and there is an expected sell-out in Tallahassee for Tuesday night’s game. Nonetheless, we will take Duke to win, and cover the spread, with the total to go over the number listed.
