The final non-conference game of the season is here for the Duke basketball program.

The third time is the charm for the Duke basketball program as the No. 2 Blue Devils (9-1) had to scramble to find another opponent for Saturday afternoon.

After Cleveland State had to pull out because of Covid protocols, Mike Krzyzewski was able to get Loyola (Maryland) to come to Durham only to see the Greyhounds go on a Covid pause on Friday afternoon.

Duke then went and scheduled in-state foe Elon (3-8) to come to Cameron and close out its non-conference slate.

Duke Injury Report vs. Elon

Duke will be fully healthy entering Saturday’s game against Elon after Theo John returned to the court on Thursday against Appalachian State.

John had previously missed Tuesday’s game against South Carolina State with a back injury that was apparently suffered during the Blue Devils’ two-week break.

Duke vs. Elon Odds: Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick

WynnBET’s College Basketball Odds lists Duke as a massive 28-point favorite against Elon at home while the over/under is set at 152.5.

After an impressive showing against South Carolina State on Tuesday, the Blue Devils were only impressive in spurts against Appalachian State but still covered the point spread.

Elon is a step up in competition from Loyola but a step down in competition from the originally scheduled Cleveland State.

The Blue Devils seem like a force right now, so we will take Duke to cover the spread and the total to go over the number listed.
