Duke basketball players who were studs against Ohio State

Wendell Moore

Wendell Moore was one of the only Duke players who was not playing in his first true road game, and it showed.

Moore was not intimidated by the opponent or crowd, and he tried to get the Blue Devils to the finish line but did not have enough help.

The junior forward led the team with 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field while adding eight points and five assists.

Wendell Moore continues to be one of the most impressive and important players for Duke this season as his next big test will come against conference foes at the end of the month.

Joey Baker

Much like his fellow captain, Joey Baker was also not afraid of the moment on Tuesday night.

Baker, a senior, came off the bench and added five points in 21 minutes while going 2-of-4 from the field.

Despite all the whistles against the Blue Devils in the loss, Baker did not pick up a foul while he also added a rebound in the game.

Joey Baker remains a key piece off the bench for this Duke squad. He still must try and regain his shooting form from the outside, but the veteran seems to have found his role on this team.
