The Duke basketball team closes out a tough week on the road against Ohio State.

A lot will be learned about the Duke basketball team on Tuesday night in Columbus, Ohio.

The Blue Devils, fresh off a victory over No.1 Gonzaga that earned them the No. 1 ranking in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll, will play their first true road game of the season against the hungry Ohio State Buckeyes.

Ohio State came into the season as the No. 19 team in the country in the preseason poll, but losses in two of its last three games to Xavier and Florida have pushed the Buckeyes to outside of the rankings.

The only victory for Chris Holtmann’s team in the last week came against No. 21 Seton Hall on a neutral floor in the Fort Myers Tip-Off.

Ohio State will not have Justice Sueing, Seth Towns, or Eugene Brown III when it takes on Duke in the ACC vs. Big Ten Challenge.

None of the three players played in the previous two games for the Buckeyes as Ohio State thrives on EJ Liddell and his 22.5 points per game.

Duke Injury Report vs. Ohio State

Once again, Duke was dealing with cramping issues on Friday night in Las Vegas against Gonzaga, most notably to Paolo Banchero and Wendell Moore.

Both players were able to return to the game and will be available to play against Ohio State.

The Blue Devils also saw the return of reserve junior guard Michael Savarino to the bench against the Zags, but he was not suited up to play.
