Duke was never in the conversation of National Championship contenders prior to Friday night, but they are now.
A lot of the conversation revolved around Gonzaga, and rightly so, along with mentions of UCLA, Purdue, Kansas, Michigan, Texas, etc.
Perhaps the poor season from a year ago remained at the forefront in the minds of many college basketball experts. But that is long gone now.
