Duke basketball takeaways in victory over Gonzaga: 

If you didn’t know then, now you do

Duke was never in the conversation of National Championship contenders prior to Friday night, but they are now.

A lot of the conversation revolved around Gonzaga, and rightly so, along with mentions of UCLA, Purdue, Kansas, Michigan, Texas, etc.

Perhaps the poor season from a year ago remained at the forefront in the minds of many college basketball experts. But that is long gone now.

Duke will likely be the No. 1 team in the country on Monday afternoon, and questions will soon come down, “Can Duke be beaten?”

The answer is yes, but the fact still remains the same: Duke is dangerous.
