The Duke basketball team returns to Durham for its home opener against Army.

It was a glorious season opener for the Duke basketball program with a victory over the Kentucky Wildcats, but now the Blue Devils will return to Durham for their home opener.

Duke will play a regular season game in front of the Cameron Crazies for the first time since March 7, 2020 against North Carolina, and it will be against the alma mater of head coach Mike Krzyzewski, the Army Black Knights.

Army comes to Durham for the weekend as the Duke program is hosting the Duke Veteran’s Day Weekend Showcase, featuring the Blue Devils, Black Knights, Campbell, and Hartford.

Friday night will be the first of five straight games for Duke inside Cameron Indoor Stadium before the team goes to Las Vegas to play Gonzaga in the Continental Tire Challenge on November 26.

Duke Injury Report vs. Army

After three key players, Paolo Banchero, Trevor Keels, Wendell Moore, all dealt with cramping on Tuesday night against Kentucky, the entire Duke team appears ready to go for its home opener against Army at full strength.

Duke vs Army Odds: Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick

WynnBET’s College Basketball Odds lists Duke as a 25.5-point favorite over Army at home while the over/under is set at 143.

In Mike Krzyzewski’s final home opener in Cameron Indoor Stadium, we will take Duke to win outright but Army to cover the spread as Coach K will not want to completely blow out his former team and alma mater while the Blue Devils could face an emotional letdown after their massive win over Kentucky.

We will predict the total to go under the number listed.
