Game 7: Duke basketball versus Gonzaga

The Duke Blue Devils will face the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who rank No. 1 to start the year, on Nov. 26 at 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN) in the Las Vegas Mobile Arena.

Duke and reigning national runner-up Gonzaga could arrive in Vegas with unblemished records. If that’s the case, then this game will likely feature two teams from the top five. Now, the Blue Devils would probably be underdogs in this scenario, but consider Mike Krzyzewski’s teams have fared well over his four-plus decades when seen as the slightly weaker of battling heavyweights.

No matter the records heading in, there is one certainty barring injuries: the matchup will pit the No. 1 and No. 2 prospects on the 247Sports 2021 Composite against one another. They are Gonzaga’s 7-foot big man Chet Holmgren and Duke basketball’s 6-foot-10, 250-pound phenom Paolo Banchero, respectively.

With this predicted blockbuster win, the Blue Devils move into the top spot in the AP Top 25 Poll — for now, anyway.

Predicted final score: Duke 78, Gonzaga 75

The Blue Devils improve to 7-0 overall on the season.
