Game 26: Duke basketball versus Wake Forest
The Duke Blue Devils will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2) in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Again, as noted for this season’s first bout against Wake Forest, the Demon Deacons are probably at least a year away from enjoying the necessary artillery to hang with a team that has as many presumed studs as Duke. And since this matchup will be the third to last for Mike Krzyzewski at home, the Blue Devils may benefit from the crowd’s growing energy and emotions.
Furthermore, keep in mind that Wake hasn’t topped Duke in Cameron since 1996-97. It seems doubtful that Coach K and his crew will allow the streak to end this go-round.
No, this game might be the Blue Devils’ biggest ACC blowout win of the season as they gear up for a rather daunting final stretch.
