Duke basketball recruiting prospects are speaking highly about Jon Scheyer.

By announcing his retirement a year in advance, Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski prevented a few problems for the Blue Devil family that he has thus far built into a five-time national champ.

First, by tagging associate head coach Jon Scheyer as his successor-in-waiting, Krzyzewski is being 100 percent transparent with 2022 prospects, who wouldn’t arrive until after he departs from the helm. Perhaps most importantly, recruits all across the country were tuning in. And a trio of 2022 talents on the Blue Devil radar voiced their opinions concerning the future of the modern era’s most-watched program, giving every indication that they are still considering Duke as a landing spot despite the change at the top.

So let’s look, one target at a time, at what these three fellas had to say…
