The Duke basketball coaching staff is not done on the recruiting trail in the Class of 2021.

Mike Krzyzewski and the Duke basketball coaching staff are still looking to bolster their roster for the 2021-22 season.

After seeing three players enter the transfer portal and one player officially declare for the 2021 NBA Draft, there is still roster movement to come in Durham, but the one glaring need for the Blue Devils is a reserve guard.

Duke has reached out to Class of 2021 point guard Jaylen Blakes, according to multiple reports, but an offer has not yet been made.

Blakes stars at Blair Academy (NJ), the same high school as Blue Devil preferred walk-on Keenan Worthington, and is rated as a four-star recruit by 247 Sports.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound point guard is ranked as the No. 101 player in the Class of 2021, No. 16 point guard, and the No. 3 player in the state of New Jersey, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

Duke is bringing in a recruiting class of Paolo Banchero, Adrain Griffin Jr., and Trevor Keels while still having one scholarship offer extended to a member of the high school senior class with Patrick Baldwin Jr.

The Blue Devils have also reached out to four-star point guard TyTy Washington after his decommitment from Creighton, but no official offer has been made from the coaching staff.

The major question surrounding the Blue Devils is the NBA Draft decision of sophomore standout Matthew Hurt.

It is anticipated that Hurt will declare for the 2021 NBA Draft, joining teammate DJ Steward, while Baldwin Jr. is expected to commit to Milwaukee, where his father is the head coach.

Jeremy Roach is expected to be the starting point guard for Duke next season, but there is no other true point guard currently on the roster. Therefore, Washington or Blakes would fill a much needed role for the Blue Devils, if they extend an offer.

Duke is coming off its first missed NCAA Tournament since the 1994-95 season.
