Former Duke basketball standout Marvin Bagley is being disrespected in trade proposals.
After being the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the transition from college to the professional game for former Duke basketball standout Marvin Bagley hasn’t been the smoothest.
Bagley already was under the microscope for being selected one pick prior to budding star Luka Doncic, and his inability to remain healthy has been troubling for the Sacramento Kings with his most recent injury, a fractured hand, suffered last week.
Marvin Bagley won’t need surgery on his most recent injury, but he will be sidelined for at least one month.
Due to injury concerns, it seems as if Bagley and the Kings are headed toward a divorce, but teams haven’t been loving the idea of trading some of their assets for the former Blue Devil.

Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported that the Detroit Pistons turned down an offer in which it would receive Marvin Bagley while the No. 19 overall pick from last year’s draft, Saddiq Bey, would go to Sacramento.
Detroit being unwilling to give up its young standout for a former Top-2 pick certainly speaks volumes to what the Pistons think of Marvin Bagley. Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report has stated that it’s “no secret” that Bagley is looking for a change of scenery, but the Kings want a first-round pick in compensation for their forward.
Marvin Bagley has been averaging 13.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game this season on 50.2-percent shooting from the floor and 35.4-percent from three-point range.
Duke basketball standout would have to be traded soon
Time is running out for the Sacramento Kings to trade Marvin Bagley as the NBA Trading Deadline is on Thursday, March 25 at 3:00pm EST.

Trade rumors circulating around Bagley surfaced earlier in the season after a cryptic tweet from his father where he was also pleading for the franchise to trade his son.
After landing on the NBA All-Rookie Team, the former Blue Devil only played in 13 games in his second season and just 37 games so far this season.
