Duke basketball Key to Victory No. 1 – Win the Turnover Battle

Florida State is a team with very few weaknesses, but one area of the game where the Seminoles are susceptible is the turnover category.

In all five of its losses, Florida State has turned the ball over at least 14 times.

Duke forced 20 turnovers in its win over Boston College but forced just eight turnovers against Louisville.

Turnovers lead to transition opportunities, which lead to easy points at the basket, which is something Duke needs to happen early in the game in order to build confidence and a lead.

It’ll be a 40-minute battle, but if Duke is able to win the turnover battle, it will be a great start in trying to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive while trying to make history at the ACC Tournament.
