Boston Celtics: 13-11, No. 4 in Eastern Conference

Fan voting: No. 4 among Eastern Conference frontcourt players

Season stats: The fourth-year pro is averaging 26.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 46.0 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 87.7 percent from the foul line.

Stating case: True, the Boston Celtics have been inconsistent. On the other hand, they have often been shorthanded. Three of their L’s came without Jayson Tatum, who is scoring at a career-high rate, due to his bout with COVID-19 in January. But barring a severe losing skid, the now-healthy franchise star should become only the seventh Blue Devil to ever tally back-to-back All-Star trips.

All-Star probability for Jayson Tatum: 95 percent
