Ideal power forwards to be on 2021-22 Duke basketball roster

Henry Coleman

Despite limited minutes, Henry Coleman has recently proved that he can play, and be effective in ACC games.

Coleman provides a toughness and a grit when he steps on the floor, which can be most notably seen in the loss to North Carolina when the four-star freshman prospect matched up against the talented slew of forwards the Tar Heels possess and gave the Blue Devils a burst of energy.

Like Wendell Moore, you can see that Henry Coleman is a vital presence to the team’s leadership both on and off the court and will be a mainstay in Durham throughout his four years.

Paolo Banchero

Paolo Banchero has also already signed with the Blue Devils, and the 6-foot-9 power forward can do it all.

Banchero is ranked as the No. 3 recruit in the Class of 2021 and can play inside and outside as well as be an excellent passer in the half-court.

Like Adrian Griffin Jr. and Patrick Baldwin Jr., Banchero is considered a ‘one-and-done’ prospect and will likely be a Top-5 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, perhaps even contending for the top overall selection.

Hopefully with fans inside Cameron Indoor Stadium, the Cameron Crazies will be dazzled by the basketball brilliance of Paolo Banchero next season.
