Ranking the 11 Duke basketball contributors through 11 games
By Matt Giles
9. Duke basketball freshman forward Henry Coleman
GAME AVERAGES: 2.9 minutes, 0.6 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.0 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.0 blocks, 0.1 turnovers, 0.1 fouls
SHOOTING PERCENTAGES: 66.7 percent from the field, 0-for-0 from beyond the arc, 0-for-0 from the foul line
SEASON-HIGH STATS: Eight minutes vs. Bellarmine on Dec. 4, four points vs. Bellarmine, two rebounds vs. Bellarmine, two steals vs. Bellarmine, one turnover vs. Bellarmine, one foul at Louisville on Jan. 23
OVERALL ASSESSMENT: The lowest-ranked recruit in Duke’s freshman class is the only player of the 11 here who hasn’t drawn a single starting nod this season. Recently, however, it looks as if Henry Coleman has at least carved out a role, albeit a small one. Across eight combined minutes the past two games, the strongman has provided energy while never appearing out of place.
CURRENT GRADE: 76 (C+)
