What to watch for in Duke basketball matchup against Wake Forest:

Keep Wendell Moore Going

Wendell Moore had been a shell of himself this season until Wednesday night.

Moore had scored a total of 19 points through the first four games of the season before his 25-point outburst against Boston College.

The 6-foot-6 forward had been 1-of-21 shooting from the floor, not including Duke’s season-opening victory over Coppin State, but had an 8-for-13 shooting performance on Wednesday, coupled with 2-of-3 shooting from 3-point territory and 7-of-8 from the free throw line.

Duke is a much better team when Wendell Moore is engaged and active on both ends of the floor, and the best chance the Blue Devils have at reaching their potential this season is with Wednesday’s version of the Charlotte, North Carolina native.

Wendell Moore needs to put forth the same effort and production on Saturday against Wake Forest to continue to boost his confidence.
