Duke basketball Key to Victory No. 3 – Shake off the rust

There’s bound to be rust on the Blue Devils after 21 days of not playing a basketball game against an opposition.

It’s expected and normal, but Duke cannot let that rust linger late into the first half and in the second half, giving Boston College the confidence that it can defeat the Blue Devils.

Perhaps the most important player to watch will be sophomore Wendell Moore, who has been in a slump since Duke’s season-opening victory.

The extended break might have been beneficial to the North Carolina native, who had the chance to get away from the game and clear his mind before the gauntlet of ACC play arrives.

Shooting numbers will quickly determine how much rust is on the No. 21 Blue Devils as they matchup against Boston College.
