What to watch for: Duke basketball must elevate energy level

Perhaps the biggest issue playing at Cameron Indoor Stadium this season without fans is the lack of energy in the historic building.

Two Top-10 teams have walked into Durham and beat Duke down with the absence of the Cameron Crazies, while two below-average teams pushed the Blue Devils to the brink without spectators.

The fear of facing Duke and its fans are gone in the midst of the pandemic.

However, Duke is now returning off its holiday break and facing what should be an inferior team without arguably its best player in Champagnie.

The energy could be low from the Blue Devils, who cannot take any opponent lightly.

Duke appeared to be much more active and aggressive in its victory against the Fighting Irish, and hopefully, the two weeks off did not hurt the Blue Devils in their attempt to build momentum and chemistry this season.
